- • Source and secure critical materials, equipment, and services for data center sites, power generation projects, innovation initiatives, and corporate functions to support Crusoe’s energy-first AI infrastructure mission.
- • Request competitive quotes from suppliers for major capital equipment and services, ensuring ethical, transparent, and timely procurement processes aligned with company standards.
- • Evaluate commercial proposals and prepare detailed bid summaries to support award recommendations based on cost, quality, delivery timelines, and risk assessment.
- • Identify, pre-qualify, and onboard new suppliers for services and hard-to-source materials, expanding Crusoe’s vendor network to meet project demands.
- • Negotiate, draft, and redline a variety of commercial contracts including Master Service Agreements, Master Purchase Agreements, Consulting Agreements, and EPC contracts.
- • Manage end-to-end contract execution, ensuring compliance, timely renewals, and performance tracking across all active agreements.
- • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers to foster reliability, innovation, and long-term partnership.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Managers, Engineers, Legal, and Finance teams to align procurement strategy with project timelines and technical requirements.
- • Communicate project status, procurement risks, and delivery challenges to internal stakeholders to enable proactive decision-making and risk mitigation.
- • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to analyze pricing data, track spend, generate reports, and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
- • Operate with autonomy in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and adherence to compliance protocols.
- • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, emerging project needs, and dynamic supply chain conditions inherent in scaling AI infrastructure.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing processes, contract templates, and supplier evaluation frameworks to enhance efficiency and reduce cost.
- • Ensure all procurement activities support Crusoe’s mission to mitigate environmental impact and accelerate the energy transition through responsible sourcing practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- • 3+ years of experience in direct procurement roles such as Buyer, Capital Project Procurement, or Category Manager
- • Proven experience in direct redlining of terms and conditions in commercial contracts, including Evergreen agreements
- • Strong negotiation and communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct in-person and virtual deal-making
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data analysis, reporting, and documentation
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
