• • As a Strategy and Growth - Subcontracts Analyst IV at Amentum, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's success by driving procurement strategies and supplier engagement for new business opportunities. This remote-telework position requires you to live and work within the United States and hold US Citizenship.
• • You will be the primary liaison between the Contracts, Subcontracts, and Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) organizations and the Business Development (BD) and Capture teams. Your early involvement in the capture process is crucial for defining effective spend strategies, meticulously gathering Bill of Materials (BOMs), and developing comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs).
• • A key responsibility is to lead the teaming strategy process. This involves identifying, evaluating, and recommending potential partners and teammates, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and proposal requirements. You will also be instrumental in the development and negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements (TAs) in close collaboration with BD.
• • You will own the creation of compliant and Day-1-ready functional file documentation for Contracts, Subcontracts, and Global Supply Chain, ensuring all necessary paperwork and processes are in place from the outset.
• • Coordinating the vetting of potential partners is essential. You will ensure that all prospective suppliers meet the minimum requirements to be considered an approved supplier, adhering to standard practices and due diligence.
• • Soliciting supplier quotes and teammate proposals will be a significant part of your role. You will coordinate these efforts to gather critical information, including pricing, past performance data, and technical capabilities, which are vital for proposal development.
• • You will recommend and facilitate the involvement of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to generate accurate and detailed SOW documents for various proposal elements, ensuring technical feasibility and clarity.
• • Collaborating closely with the BD function, you will contribute to the development of proposals and Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), focusing on areas such as small business utilization, transportation logistics, supplier management, and overall planning.
• • Ensuring strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as internal Governance & Execution Model procedures, is paramount. Your work will directly contribute to the company's adherence to legal and ethical standards.
• • You will play a key role in developing and enhancing databases and tools designed to access historical pricing and SOW data. This initiative aims to significantly expedite the procurement process and improve efficiency.
• • Leading data analysis initiatives will be crucial for influencing changes to the proposal process, informing competitive intelligence, and refining the concept of operations. Your insights will drive continuous improvement.
• • You will leverage industry best practices and provide expert guidance on prioritizing efforts to shape competitive bids and optimize the overall procurement strategy, ensuring Amentum remains at the forefront of its market.
• • Continuously monitoring the external environment and internal trends, practices, and utilization will keep you current with the latest procurement and logistics procedures and systems, allowing you to adapt and innovate.
• • Active participation in color reviews and capture status meetings as required will ensure alignment and provide critical feedback loops.
