• • The Strategy & Operations role is central to Finch's mission of empowering top law firms across the country with an efficient and scalable operational engine. This position requires a versatile individual who excels at the intersection of process design, structured problem-solving, and cross-functional execution. You will be instrumental in shaping the systems, workflows, and client experiences that drive firm efficiency, enhance client outcomes, and ensure predictable growth.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to deeply understand current operational patterns and workflows, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for significant improvement across various business functions. This involves a meticulous analysis of how work is currently performed to pinpoint areas ripe for innovation and optimization.
• • You will be tasked with designing and implementing scalable processes, comprehensive playbooks, and clear operational standards. The goal is to foster greater clarity, ensure consistency in service delivery, and support predictable, high-quality case outcomes for our partner firms.
• • A key aspect of this role involves defining optimal interfaces and communication models. These are crucial for facilitating seamless collaboration among law firms assigning work, clients seeking updates, and internal teams executing tasks, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed.
• • You will act as a vital bridge between operational needs and technological solutions, partnering closely with our Product and Engineering teams. This collaboration will translate operational requirements into the development of effective tools, automations, and application experiences that enhance the quality and efficiency of our execution.
• • Developing robust metrics and visibility mechanisms is essential. These tools will empower teams to monitor performance, proactively identify operational risks, and accurately measure progress against strategic objectives, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• • Depending on company priorities and your specific strengths and interests, your work may span across critical areas such as Case Workflow optimization, enhancing the Law Firm Experience, or driving broader Legal Operations Experience improvements. This role offers the flexibility to focus on areas where you can make the most impact.
• • Continuous testing, iteration, and refinement of operational systems will be a core part of your responsibilities. As our volume grows, firm needs evolve, and new product capabilities emerge, you will adapt and improve our operational frameworks to maintain peak performance and client satisfaction.

You will collaborate extensively with Legal Ops, Product & Engineering, and Growth teams to deliver transformative improvements for our attorney partners, their clients, and our internal teams.
