Since our launch in April, we've experienced remarkable growth, expanding tenfold and now powering pre-litigation for a significant number of leading firms. Our innovative approach combines the expertise of seasoned operators with cutting-edge AI to manage the entire lifecycle of a case, from initial intake and claim opening to the meticulous handling of medical records, police reports, lien management, and demand submissions.
• • As a Strategy & Operations role focused on Legal Operations, you will be at the very core of our mission. The individuals performing the legal operations work – case managers, specialists, and dedicated operations teams – are the lifeblood of Finch. Your primary responsibility will be to gain a profound understanding of their daily challenges, workflows, and pain points. This deep insight will then be leveraged to design and implement robust systems, efficient structures, and intuitive app experiences that empower these teams to achieve peak performance and deliver exceptional outcomes.
• • You will adopt a holistic perspective, examining how teams operate from every angle. This includes analyzing staffing models, optimizing information flow, ensuring tools effectively support daily tasks, and identifying and removing any obstacles that hinder optimal performance. Your work will involve meticulous workflow analysis, keen observation of operational patterns, precise identification of friction points, and the creative design of solutions that demonstrably enhance quality, accelerate case resolution speed, and boost employee satisfaction.
• • Your contributions will span a wide range, from designing and refining operational processes to providing critical feedback on UI/UX elements of our platform, and establishing clear operational standards. Ultimately, your efforts will directly shape the experience legal operations teams have with Finch and significantly influence their effectiveness in helping law firms resolve cases efficiently and successfully.
• • Key responsibilities will include mapping and diagnosing current-state workflows across various legal operations roles to pinpoint areas of wasted effort or potential risks to quality. You will be instrumental in designing operating models and team structures that foster efficiency, encourage specialization, and ensure sustainable workloads for our teams.
• • A crucial aspect of this role involves close collaboration with our Product and Design teams. You will work hand-in-hand with them to enhance Finch OS, ensuring it better supports the daily tasks, critical decision-making processes, and quality control measures essential for legal operations.
• • Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating and refining performance and quality metrics. These metrics will provide teams with clear expectations, serve as a basis for identifying coaching opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
• • The legal operations experience is dynamic and constantly evolving. You will be tasked with continuously refining this experience as workflows adapt, caseloads shift, and new product capabilities are introduced, ensuring Finch remains at the forefront of legal tech innovation.
• • The Strategy & Operations (S&O) team at Finch acts as the vanguard, identifying the most critical problems and growth opportunities and tackling them with speed and precision. We own the development of playbooks, workflows, and experimental initiatives that propel the business forward. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Legal Ops, Product & Engineering, and Growth teams to deliver tenfold improvements for our attorney partners, their clients, and our internal teams.
