📋 Description

• • Own the future of benefits at scale. As Kota’s first Strategy & Operations Manager you will sit at the intersection of product, commercial, and operations, translating high-level goals into executable plans that move the needle for tens of thousands of employees across Europe. You will be the COO’s right hand and the company’s go-to problem solver, turning ambiguity into clarity and ideas into repeatable, scalable processes.
• • Drive strategic projects end-to-end. You will identify the highest-impact opportunities—whether that’s reducing onboarding friction for new customers, unlocking new geographies, or designing a data-driven renewal engine—and build the business case, roadmap, and KPIs to deliver them. Examples include launching a new market expansion playbook that cuts time-to-launch by 30 %, or redesigning the customer health-score that now predicts churn 60 days in advance.
• • Lead day-to-day performance uplift across functional teams. You will embed with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Underwriting to surface bottlenecks, run root-cause analyses, and implement lightweight fixes that compound over time. Expect to redesign a renewal workflow, introduce a tiered support model, or pilot an AI triage bot that frees 20 % of CSM capacity.
• • Own competitive intelligence and market positioning. Build and maintain a living map of the European benefits landscape—regulatory shifts, pricing models, incumbents, and emerging challengers—then translate insights into actionable recommendations. You will brief the exec team monthly, influence product roadmap priorities, and arm Sales with battle cards that win deals.
• • Establish data foundations that scale. You will stand up the metrics layer, define canonical KPIs, and write SQL to surface insights that were previously invisible. Projects include building a Looker dashboard that tracks gross-margin-per-policy in real time and creating a cohort-based LTV model that now guides marketing spend allocation.
• • Prepare crisp, cross-functional updates. From board slides to investor memos to weekly ops reviews, you will synthesize complex work streams into clear narratives that enable fast, informed decisions. Your materials will become the template for how the company communicates internally.
• • Handle ad-hoc strategic fire-drills. Whether it’s a regulatory curveball in Germany, a sudden spike in support tickets, or a last-minute due-diligence request from a prospect, you will parachute in, scope the problem, assemble the right team, and drive to resolution—often within hours, not weeks.
