- • As a Subscription Renewals Representative at Commvault Systems, Inc., you will be instrumental in safeguarding and expanding our recurring revenue streams by ensuring our valued customers continue to benefit from our industry-leading cyber resilience solutions.
- • This pivotal inside sales role, based in the EMEA region with a focus on the United Kingdom, demands a proactive and consultative approach to customer engagement. You will be the primary point of contact for existing clients approaching their subscription renewal dates, guiding them through the process and reinforcing the immense value Commvault delivers.
- • Your core mission will be to achieve ambitious sales targets by successfully renewing existing customer contracts. This involves a deep understanding of the customer's journey, from initial adoption of our services to their ongoing expansion and ultimate renewal, ensuring they consistently realize maximum value from their investment.
- • You will leverage a variety of communication channels, including telephone, video conferencing, and email, to build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with a diverse customer base. The ability to connect with clients on a personal and professional level, understanding their evolving business needs and technical environments, is paramount.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to conduct thorough renewal scoping. This involves assessing the customer's current Commvault environment, anticipating their future requirements, and presenting tailored multi-year subscription renewal options that align perfectly with their strategic objectives and growth plans.
- • Beyond simple renewals, you will be empowered to identify and capitalize on opportunities for upsell and cross-sell during renewal discussions. By understanding the customer's broader IT landscape and business challenges, you will proactively recommend additional Commvault solutions or upgrades that can further enhance their cyber resilience and operational efficiency.
- • Collaboration is central to success in this role. You will work in close partnership with Field Sales Account Executives, Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and our extensive network of Partners and Distributors. This cross-functional teamwork ensures a unified strategy, a seamless customer experience, and the collective achievement of business goals.
- • You will be adept at navigating potentially challenging conversations and situations with professionalism and tact. Your ability to resolve conflicts, address concerns, and secure stakeholder buy-in will be critical in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring successful deal closure.
- • We encourage a culture of continuous improvement. You will be expected to actively contribute to the development and refinement of new sales processes and strategies, embracing innovation within our results-driven framework to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- • Diligent follow-through is non-negotiable. You will meticulously execute all follow-up actions stemming from customer interactions and meetings, ensuring that commitments are met, expectations are managed, and the renewal process culminates in a positive and successful outcome.
- • This role requires a highly organized and goal-oriented individual who can manage a defined territory effectively, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and drive deals to closure with a high degree of autonomy.
- • By focusing on customer retention and growth, you will directly contribute to Commvault's sustained success and its position as the gold standard in cyber resilience, playing a vital part in protecting businesses worldwide from cyber threats.
- • You will be a key player in the 'Land-Adopt-Expand-Renew' lifecycle, ensuring that our customers not only adopt our solutions but also grow with us, finding ongoing value and security in our comprehensive offerings.
- • Your success will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed renewal targets, increase customer lifetime value, and contribute to the overall growth of Commvault's recurring revenue.
- • This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team within a leading technology company, where your contributions will have a tangible impact on business outcomes and customer success.
🎯 Requirements
- • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in renewal sales or inside sales, with a proven track record of success.
- • An energetic, self-starting mindset with a consultative sales approach, comfortable engaging customers via telephone, video, and email.
- • Demonstrated experience in renewal sales, specifically working with SaaS/software customers.
- • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions and build rapport effectively.
- • Fluency in English (written and verbal) at a professional business level.
🏖️ Benefits
- • An attractive compensation package, reflecting your skills and contributions.
- • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) for shared ownership and long-term financial growth.
