- • As a Supervisor for Starlink Customer Support on the weekend shift, you will lead and empower a team of customer support agents to deliver exceptional service that aligns with SpaceX’s mission of enabling global connectivity through satellite internet, directly supporting the vision of making life multiplanetary by ensuring reliable user experiences worldwide.
- • Day to day, you will supervise and coach a team of 25+ hourly employees, monitor customer interactions for quality and compliance, handle escalated issues, analyze support metrics to identify trends and drive process improvements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, deliver training programs, and manage change communication while fostering a positive, high-performance team environment.
- • You will be part of SpaceX’s Starlink Customer Support team based in Hawthorne, CA, contributing to a fast-paced, innovative organization that is revolutionizing global internet access and advancing space exploration through relentless execution and technical excellence.
- • In this role, you will develop leadership and operational expertise in customer support management, gain experience in data-driven decision making and process optimization using tools like Excel and SQL, and grow your ability to lead teams through change while directly impacting customer satisfaction and service efficiency at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of professional experience in customer service or customer success
- • 2+ years of people management experience in customer service or support operations with teams of 25+ hourly employees, or 1+ years of SpaceX customer support operations experience as a lead
- • 2+ years of experience in synchronous (phone/chat/instant messaging) customer support operations
- • Demonstrated experience using data analysis and structured root cause analysis to identify trends, uncover issues, quantify impact, and drive operational improvements
- • Proven ability to lead and develop teams through effective coaching, feedback, and performance management
- • Experience with reporting tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, or dashboarding and visualization platforms
