This remote Support Engineer role based in Brazil is critical to maintaining the stability and performance of SAP PP-PM environments for global manufacturing clients, directly contributing to client satisfaction and operational continuity.
• The Support Engineer will provide Level 3 technical support for SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) modules across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. Daily responsibilities include analyzing and resolving production incidents within SLA timelines, replicating issues by coordinating with technical teams and business users, performing root cause analysis, and documenting solutions for continuous improvement. The role involves managing service requests such as master data and configuration changes, supporting enhancement projects from requirements gathering through design, testing, deployment, and post-production hyper-care, and assisting with client onboarding by participating in knowledge transfer and job shadowing activities with incumbent vendors.
• Working within a global, collaborative support team, the engineer will monitor system alerts using Rimini Street or client-based tools, ensure adherence to internal processes and time tracking, and contribute to performance tuning and system stabilization efforts. The role requires balancing independent problem-solving with effective teamwork across geographies and time zones, particularly when supporting clients in different regions. Fluency in English and Portuguese is required, with Spanish considered a plus, enabling clear communication with diverse stakeholders.
• This position offers deep expertise in SAP manufacturing modules within complex, mission-critical environments. The engineer will develop advanced troubleshooting abilities, gain exposure to end-to-end integration points with SAP MM and CO, and refine skills in project lifecycle management, ITIL practices, and agile methodologies. Over time, the role builds credibility as a trusted advisor to clients and strengthens capabilities in change management, system optimization, and cross-functional collaboration—key competencies for long-term growth in enterprise support or SAP consulting careers.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PP (Production Planning), including process orders, BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, MRP, capacity planning, and shop-floor execution.
• Solid functional expertise in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), covering preventive and corrective maintenance, maintenance plans, task lists, notifications, work orders, and equipment/functional location structures.
• Experience working in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA manufacturing landscapes.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Fluent English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.
• 5 to 9 years of relevant experience in SAP support or consulting roles.
