- • Serve as the primary liaison between CNA Surety and agent customers within the Arizona and New Mexico territory, acting as an extension of the underwriting team to drive premium growth and customer retention.
- • Conduct regular in-person and virtual sales calls to all assigned agencies to build relationships, enhance brand loyalty, and achieve weekly and monthly sales quotas.
- • Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of all CNA Surety products and services to effectively educate agents on solutions that meet their business needs.
- • Utilize technology platforms including Portal, bONdLINE, Direct Bill, and ePay to train agents on automation tools and improve ease of doing business.
- • Maintain a rigorous schedule of daily virtual contacts and monthly in-person agency visits as outlined in the Marketing Representative’s Procedure Manual to maximize production and coverage.
- • Prospect for new agency appointments and identify high-potential commercial and contract bond business opportunities within the territory.
- • Act as a relationship manager by listening to agent feedback, documenting complaints, and ensuring timely resolution in alignment with company protocols.
- • Collaborate with internal teams including underwriting and leadership to align sales strategies, share market intelligence, and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- • Gather and report market and agency intelligence to support territory-wide sales and marketing planning, including insights on competitive activity and customer trends.
- • Participate actively in industry and agency associations to stay informed on market developments that may impact CNA Surety operations.
- • Research, monitor, and report on legislative changes in Arizona and New Mexico that could affect surety bond business, and engage with governmental agencies as needed to provide education or gather information.
- • Use reporting tools to identify delinquent accounts and assist in accounts receivable collection efforts within the assigned territory.
- • Project a professional corporate image through consistent, high-quality interactions with agents and participation in public relations activities.
- • Adapt sales and communication approaches based on market dynamics to ensure the most effective and efficient customer touchpoints.
- • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and market observations using company systems and tools.
- • Travel as required to meet with agents and attend industry events across the Arizona and New Mexico territory.
- • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- • Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite and quickly learn new business software to support daily responsibilities and reporting requirements.
