- • Lead the commercialization of WellSky’s new Life Sciences business, focused on enabling pharmaceutical manufacturers to improve patient outcomes in real-world settings.
- • Establish and scale the entire commercial function, including defining go-to-market strategy, organizational structure, operating cadence, and performance expectations for the Life Sciences division.
- • Drive revenue growth by leading strategic business development initiatives, directly engaging senior stakeholders at pharmaceutical companies, and developing account-specific strategies to acquire net-new enterprise clients.
- • Translate WellSky’s differentiated capabilities into clear, relevant use cases for pharmaceutical manufacturers to secure early customer adoption and generate initial revenue streams.
- • Manage the end-to-end deal process for high-value contracts, including solution design, negotiation, and closing of complex enterprise sales in a greenfield market.
- • Identify and pursue new market opportunities and customer segments within the pharmaceutical industry, developing targeted strategies to generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term, expanding clients.
- • Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and industry associations to strengthen WellSky’s market position and credibility.
- • Ensure internal alignment between market demand and product development by collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape value proposition messaging and solution positioning.
- • Build and lead a high-performing commercial team over time, starting from the ground up in an early-stage business unit with a focus on scalable processes and repeatable revenue models.
- • Travel up to 50% as required by business needs to meet with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders across the United States.
- • Work additional or irregular hours as necessary to meet business objectives and support time-sensitive client engagements.
- • Maintain strict compliance with company security policies and procedures to safeguard proprietary and client information.
- • Operate in a remote, US-based role with full accountability for driving revenue and strategic growth in the Life Sciences vertical.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12-15 years of experience in life sciences, healthcare data, or a related field, including selling complex solutions to pharmaceutical manufacturers
- • 5+ years in a senior leadership role within the life sciences sector
- • Demonstrated success building and scaling sales functions, including go-to-market strategy, pipeline development, and early customer acquisition
- • Proven ability to create pipeline, close net-new business, and drive revenue growth in early-stage, high-growth, or greenfield environments
- • Strong understanding of the life sciences industry, including regulatory requirements, clinical development, and market access dynamics
- • Experience leading strategic initiatives, including M&A, partnerships, and alliances
