This pivotal role ensures that Pluralsight's data assets are not only trusted and scalable but are also strategically leveraged to drive significant business outcomes and innovation.
- • You will oversee the entire Information Delivery function, encompassing Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Integration Fabric, Content Analytics, Data Operations, and Data Governance. This is a high-impact, executive-level position that demands both strategic foresight and the capacity for hands-on execution, positioning you as the ultimate steward of the company’s comprehensive information ecosystem.
- • Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will collaborate closely with technology leadership to align data initiatives with overarching company objectives and Technology Group priorities.
- • A core responsibility will be to partner with key business stakeholders across the organization. Your role will be to inform and shape business strategy by delivering data-driven insights, enabling more informed decision-making and identifying new opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- • You will own the complete end-to-end information delivery lifecycle. This includes everything from the initial stages of data ingestion and integration to the sophisticated analysis and delivery of actionable insights.
- • A critical aspect of your mandate will be to establish and operationalize robust data governance, quality, and stewardship standards across the entire enterprise. This ensures data integrity, security, and compliance.

- • You will be accountable for data security, privacy, and ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory compliance requirements, safeguarding the company's data assets.
- • Experience in SaaS, technology-enabled learning, content platforms, or subscription-based businesses is highly valued, providing a strong foundation for understanding Pluralsight's market and operational landscape.
- • A background in modern analytics platforms, cloud data ecosystems, and proficiency with various data visualization tools will be essential for leveraging our technological infrastructure effectively.
- • You will collaborate closely with data science and AI/ML teams, fostering synergy and driving advanced analytical capabilities.
- • A proven track record of successfully driving data culture and enhancing data literacy across diverse teams, from highly technical to entirely non-technical, is crucial for this role's success.
- • This role requires a leader who can translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable business insights for executive audiences, bridging the gap between technical data capabilities and strategic business objectives.
- • You will be responsible for defining the data strategy while simultaneously ensuring the robust operation of production data systems, demonstrating a blend of strategic vision and operational excellence.
- • Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder partnership skills are vital for navigating the complexities of an executive leadership role and driving alignment across the organization.
