📋 Description

  • • As the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Corporate Processing at CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM), you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our mortgage processing operations, driving excellence, and ensuring seamless execution across all processing departments.
  • • This pivotal leadership role demands a strategic visionary with a deep understanding of the mortgage industry and a proven track record in managing large-scale processing functions. You will provide executive leadership and strategic direction, ensuring all Corporate Processing departments operate in lockstep with the company's overarching goals, maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and empower the Corporate Processing Management team. This involves providing robust guidance, conducting performance management, and offering mentorship to cultivate a cohesive and highly efficient processing workforce.
  • • You will be the architect of our performance measurement framework, establishing and rigorously monitoring company-wide processing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This includes a sharp focus on quality, turn times, productivity, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence. Crucially, you will develop and implement targeted action plans in collaboration with Vice Presidents and Managers to not only meet but consistently exceed these critical performance goals.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be to champion and drive the standardization of processes and best practices throughout all corporate processing functions. This standardization is essential for delivering a consistent and exceptional borrower experience while simultaneously maximizing operational efficiency.
  • • Cross-functional collaboration will be at the heart of your success. You will work hand-in-hand with leadership from Closing, Underwriting, Secondary, Servicing, Training, and Compliance departments. This synergy is vital for ensuring a smooth loan flow, proactively resolving pipeline issues, and efficiently addressing any suspense-related challenges.
  • • You will serve as the ultimate guardian of regulatory compliance and risk management within all processing units. This requires an in-depth knowledge and unwavering commitment to adhering to all federal and state mortgage regulations, including RESPA, TILA, HMDA, Regulation B, and others pertinent to the mortgage lending landscape.
  • • Leading strategic initiatives to optimize technology utilization, streamline existing processes, and enhance the scalability of our Corporate Processing operations will be a significant part of your mandate. You will identify opportunities to leverage technology for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • • Partnering with leadership in Corporate Loan Support, Onboarding, and Training is crucial for identifying and addressing any structural deficiencies or training gaps across departments, ensuring our teams are well-equipped and our processes are robust.
  • • You will conduct thorough reviews of departmental structures and resource allocation, making data-driven recommendations and implementing improvements that demonstrably enhance performance and drive cost efficiency.
  • • Fostering a strong culture of accountability, continuous professional development, and open collaboration among processing leadership and staff is paramount. You will inspire and motivate your teams to achieve their full potential.
  • • You will represent the Corporate Processing leadership in high-level executive meetings, providing insightful updates, strategic recommendations, and critical data to senior management, influencing key business decisions.
  • • Your oversight will extend to ensuring the team's file quality and turn times consistently meet or exceed company SLA requirements, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational throughput.
  • • You will be expected to respond to emails and phone calls within established company SLA requirements, maintaining clear and timely communication channels.
  • • You will actively monitor team pipelines to ensure strict compliance with all mortgage-related regulations, including RESPA, TIL, HMDA, and Regulation B.
  • • You will collaborate with Closing, Secondary, and Servicing departments to facilitate the acquisition of necessary documentation to clear outstanding suspense items, ensuring a smooth post-closing process.
  • • You will proactively identify structural needs within the department and implement necessary changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • • You will perform various other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the overall success of the organization.
