- • Are you a visionary leader with a proven track record in driving growth within the healthcare sector, particularly in value-based care? Atlas Oncology is seeking an exceptional Senior Vice President (SVP) of Growth to spearhead our business development initiatives and shape the future of oncology care. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven organization built by oncologists, for oncologists, dedicated to delivering truly whole-person care.
- • At Atlas, we are revolutionizing cancer care by aligning incentives through a value-based approach. This model benefits patients with improved outcomes, payors with guaranteed reductions in medical expenses, and provider partners with enhanced financial independence. Our mission is to provide the kind of cancer care that everyone deserves – personalized, comprehensive, and high-quality.
- • As the SVP of Growth, you will be instrumental in expanding our network of high-value medical oncology practices and forging strategic partnerships with payors. This role demands a dynamic "player-coach" who is passionate about building and mentoring a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- • Your core responsibilities will encompass overseeing all aspects of payor growth and account management. You will be the primary architect of mutually beneficial full-risk agreements, serving as the key representative of Atlas to health plans and at-risk providers. This involves coordinating internal resources to advance the sales pipeline, fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure the seamless operationalization of these agreements once they are in place.
- • As Atlas continues its rapid expansion, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling a robust growth function. This team will be responsible for net-new contracting with both payors and providers, managing existing accounts, and overseeing the implementation of payor agreements. Your strategic vision will guide the development of a scalable growth playbook, encompassing contract templates, pipeline reporting mechanisms, and essential policies and procedures.
- • You will be tasked with refining and executing a national value-based care contracting strategy, ensuring its alignment with the overarching enterprise growth objectives. This will be achieved in close collaboration with the CEO, President, Chief People Officer (CPE), and Head of Provider Growth, as needed.
- • A significant part of your role will involve leading and delivering against all payor contracting activities, engaging with both national and regional health plans. You will also be at the forefront of designing and implementing innovative full-risk payment models across key lines of business, including Medicare Advantage (MA), Commercial, and Medicaid.
- • Your strategic insights will be crucial in monitoring contract performance, conducting in-depth financial implication analyses, and effectively communicating risk insights to senior leadership. You will champion continuous improvement initiatives and drive workflow optimization across the growth function.
- • Representing Atlas Oncology Partners externally will be a key aspect of this role. You will serve as the primary liaison with payers and industry stakeholders, cultivating strong, collaborative relationships and championing innovative care models that benefit all parties involved.
- • Staying ahead of the curve is paramount. You will continuously monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging opportunities to ensure Atlas remains at the forefront of value-based care innovation.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to make a profound impact on the future of cancer care, driving sustainable growth and ensuring that patients receive the comprehensive, whole-person support they deserve. You will be empowered to build, lead, and innovate in a supportive and forward-thinking organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of progressive experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong emphasis on contracting, medical economics, analytics, strategy, and/or partnerships.
- • Proven success in a high-growth healthcare company, specifically in building value-based care (VBC) agreements and cultivating strong, growth-enabling relationships.
- • Deep understanding of value-based performance optimization levers across Medicare Advantage, Commercial, and original Medicare lines of business.
- • Demonstrated ability to design and execute a comprehensive payor and provider growth strategy within an early-stage healthcare services organization, with a clear long-term vision.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
- • Competitive compensation package.
- • Generous paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
- • Opportunity to shape the future of value-based oncology care.
