📋 Description
- • As a System Software Engineer – Simulation and Virtualization at NVIDIA, you will contribute to architecting and developing simulation platforms for next-generation NVIDIA Data Center platforms such as MGX, HGX, and DGX, which are critical to NVIDIA’s enterprise and cloud provider businesses.
- • Day to day, you will build, integrate, and enhance simulator components with new hardware features, bring up the full software stack on the Data Center Simulator, collaborate with hardware modeling, kernel, and platform driver teams globally, and improve performance, fix bugs across user and kernel stacks, and automate execution flows.
- • You will work with world-class engineering teams across hardware and software, contributing to scalable systems at the Speed of Light, supporting NVIDIA’s leadership in AI and HPC infrastructure.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in virtualization, hardware simulation, low-level system architecture, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to open-source simulator ecosystems and cutting-edge data center technologies.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in virtualization and HW simulation/emulation technologies
- • Proficient in C / C++ with strong software development, optimization, user & kernel mode debugging skills
- • OS fundamentals and system architecture understanding including low-level interfaces such as buses, controllers, interrupts
- • Good understanding of hypervisors & HW emulators like Qemu, KVM, VDK, SIMICs
- • Working experience on at least one major Linux distro (Ubuntu, RedHat, SLES etc.)
- • Strong interpersonal & communication skills for global distributed team collaboration
