• • You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our server infrastructure, encompassing both physical and virtual environments. This includes managing operating systems (Windows and Linux), ensuring system performance, and implementing necessary updates and patches to maintain system integrity and security.
• • Your day-to-day will involve monitoring system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations. You will manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls, ensuring that all personnel have the appropriate access while maintaining strict security protocols.
• • You will also be tasked with implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring business continuity and data protection. This includes regular testing of backup procedures and recovery plans to guarantee their effectiveness.
• • The role requires active participation in security initiatives, including the implementation of security best practices, vulnerability assessments, and the remediation of identified security risks. You will work closely with the cybersecurity team to safeguard our network and data from threats.
• • You will provide technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. This involves documenting support requests, resolutions, and creating user guides and knowledge base articles to empower users and reduce recurring issues.
