  • • Artera Technologies is at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare customer service through AI-powered virtual agents, and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic team in Santa Barbara, California. This role is pivotal in ensuring a world-class candidate experience, mirroring our commitment to excellence in patient engagement. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be instrumental in building and scaling our talent pipeline, ensuring that Artera continues to attract and hire the best minds in the industry.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously manage and optimize the core of our hiring process, starting with interview coordination and comprehensive documentation. This foundational aspect of the role requires an obsessive attention to detail, ensuring that every step of the candidate journey is seamless, efficient, and professional. You will be the gatekeeper of our interview schedules, liaising with hiring managers, candidates, and internal teams to ensure flawless execution of interview loops.
  • • Beyond coordination, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring data integrity and providing valuable insights for process improvement. This includes tracking candidate progress, managing interview feedback, and ensuring timely communication throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • • As you grow within this role, you will expand your responsibilities to include proactive sourcing of candidates for various open positions. This will involve leveraging a variety of channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, and employee referrals, to identify and engage passive and active candidates.
  • • You will also conduct initial screening calls with potential candidates to assess their qualifications, cultural fit, and interest in Artera. This requires strong communication skills, the ability to quickly evaluate a candidate's profile against job requirements, and a passion for representing Artera’s mission and values.
  • • A key aspect of this role is the opportunity to act as a "force multiplier." We are looking for an individual who not only excels at executing established processes but also actively seeks opportunities to innovate and improve them. This includes identifying areas where AI and modern recruiting technologies can be leveraged to automate repetitive tasks, enhance efficiency, and ultimately create a more human-centric and effective hiring process.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the broader People Operations team to contribute to the continuous improvement of our recruitment strategies, employer branding initiatives, and overall candidate experience. This includes participating in brainstorming sessions, providing feedback on recruitment tools, and contributing to the development of best practices.
  • • This is a full-time, in-office position based at our vibrant downtown Santa Barbara, CA headquarters. The role requires a commitment of 3-4 days per week in the office, offering a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a high-energy environment and build a strong professional network.
  • • You will gain invaluable foundational business acumen by working closely with various departments and understanding the strategic importance of talent acquisition in a rapidly growing SaaS company. The role offers significant opportunities for professional development and career advancement within Artera, a company consistently recognized for its innovation, growth, and award-winning culture.
  • • Artera is a leader in digital health, transforming the patient experience with AI-powered virtual agents. We are trusted by over 1,000 provider organizations, engaging 100 million patients annually across voice, text, and web communications in 109 languages. Our mission is to make healthcare #1 in customer service, and our Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in bringing the right talent on board to achieve this ambitious goal.
  • • Join a team that values innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to making a real impact in healthcare. Enjoy the unique perks of living and working on the beautiful California coast, surrounded by a supportive and forward-thinking community.
  • • This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, process optimization, and the intersection of technology and human resources. If you are eager to contribute to a mission-driven company and grow your career in talent acquisition, we encourage you to apply.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in recruitment coordination, interview scheduling, and candidate management, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
  • • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • • Proactive mindset with a desire to identify and implement process improvements, particularly leveraging technology and AI.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • • Opportunity to work in a high-growth, award-winning SaaS company in the booming digital health sector.
  • • Vibrant, in-office work environment in downtown Santa Barbara, CA (3-4 days/week).
  • • Professional development opportunities and career growth within the organization.
  • • Be part of a mission-driven company focused on improving healthcare customer service.
