📋 Description
- • Architect and scale enterprise-wide skill, competency, and workforce frameworks aligned with business and talent strategy
- • Define and refine skill architecture, workforce taxonomies, and job models to ensure consistency, clarity, and reuse across all job families
- • Translate complex roles, responsibilities, and capabilities into structured, actionable skill definitions that support workforce planning
- • Partner directly with senior and executive leaders to co-create, validate, and advance skill-based workforce strategies
- • Lead design workshops and deliver expert, data-informed recommendations that influence organizational design, talent decisions, and long-term capability building
- • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor across multiple talent disciplines including succession planning, workforce architecture, and employee development programs
- • Operate as a senior individual contributor, influencing outcomes through subject matter expertise rather than formal authority
- • Work across diverse, large-scale organizational teams to align talent strategies with evolving business needs
- • Break down complex workforce challenges, analyze relevant data, and recommend practical, scalable solutions
- • Conduct and facilitate meetings and workshops with senior stakeholders to align priorities, drive consensus, and improve talent outcomes
- • Travel on an as-needed basis to attend workshops, meetings, or training sessions at Humana offices
- • Ensure all work is performed from a dedicated, interruption-free space to protect member PHI and comply with HIPAA requirements
- • Maintain self-provided internet service with minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps (wireless, wired cable, or DSL required)
- • Utilize approved telephone equipment provided by Humana to meet business communication needs
- • Apply expertise in enterprise-scale competency modeling, organizational design, and talent framework development to drive HR transformation
- • Support the evolution of employee development programs through strategic insight and data-driven analysis
- • Collaborate with the Associate Vice President, Talent Management to execute enterprise-wide talent initiatives
- • Adhere to Humana’s policies regarding remote work, including compliance with state-specific internet expense reimbursement for residents of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field
- • 8+ years of progressive experience in workforce architecture, skill or competency framework design, organizational or job architecture, or talent management/HR transformation
- • Recognized expertise in enterprise skill architecture, competency modeling, and talent framework design
- • Experience implementing skill-based workforce concepts, organization design, and job architecture at enterprise scale
- • Proven experience as a senior individual contributor influencing outcomes through expertise rather than authority
- • Experience working across diverse teams in a large-scale organizational environment
