📋 Description
- • As a Team Lead, Platform Services at Owkin, you will lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure that powers AI-driven biomedical research and product innovation.
- • You will design, implement, and maintain scalable systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP using Terraform and Kubernetes, while improving CI/CD pipelines, observability, security, and performance of platform services supporting researchers, clinicians, and drug developers.
- • You will collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, researchers, and product teams to translate technical needs into actionable solutions, manage competing priorities, and drive alignment across global teams.
- • You will mentor and develop team members through hands-on technical guidance, feedback, and career conversations, while contributing individually as a technical leader and ensuring team accountability and excellence.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of software engineering experience from a leading tech/AI startup or scale-up, with proven experience managing and leading internationally distributed engineering teams.
- • Experience managing cloud infrastructure as code (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Terraform and Kubernetes, along with strong expertise in Docker.
- • Proficiency in either Python or Go, with a track record of delivering technical results while developing team members and driving engineering productivity.
