- • The Team Lead, RCM Operations plays a pivotal role in supporting the Sr. Manager in overseeing daily operations of the revenue cycle management (RCM) teams, focusing on maximizing client revenue retention and enhancing service gains through optimization of all aspects of the revenue cycle.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the primary subject matter expert for assigned client accounts, conducting root cause analysis of rejected and denied claims, assigning weekly workloads based on claim volume and account needs, validating work completion and accuracy using reporting tools, and serving as the first line of escalation for team members encountering workflow barriers.
- • The role involves facilitating onboarding and training of new hires across multiple software platforms, providing hands-on support in claim preparation and AR follow-up, conducting weekly 1:1s and team syncs to coach and mentor staff, and building a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- • The Team Lead generates and submits monthly reports on patient balances due and refund balances to CRCs, leverages AR Aging Reports, Denial/Rejection Dashboards, EOB Tracking Logs, and Productivity Reports to guide oversight, ensures accurate and timely reporting for financial analysis, and researches and recommends adjustments/write-offs with supporting analysis for leadership approval.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing day-to-day functions of a billing and collections team, including reviewing, coding, and collecting professional services, with proven track record in revenue cycle management within the healthcare industry
- • Proven ability as a proactive change agent capable of driving organizational transformation and guiding teams through change management initiatives to implement innovative solutions and adapt to evolving industry trends and regulations
- • Exceptional supervisory competencies including leadership, team development, coaching, mentoring, and situational assessment skills, with a proven track record of fostering continuous improvement and building high-performing teams
- • Proficiency in Google for Business, Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant SaaS platforms used in healthcare billing and collections, including familiarity with clearinghouses
- • Compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding protection of patient health information, including adherence to organizational privacy policies and procedures
