- • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and carriers, responding promptly to inquiries via email and phone with expert guidance and solutions.
- • Independently manage a dedicated portfolio of surety bond accounts, owning client relationships, bond cycles, and full submission processes to underwriters.
- • Process bond requests, endorsements, audits, accounting/billing, and coordinate claims and loss control services efficiently and accurately.
- • Gather and compile customer information to prepare new bond submissions for existing accounts with surety companies.
- • Review all bond documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with underwriting standards.
- • Execute bonds under Power of Attorney and submit final bond documentation to surety companies.
- • Maintain and update surety files to ensure ongoing compliance with underwriting requirements and regulatory standards.
- • Adhere strictly to Brown & Brown’s compliance standards, including meticulous documentation, timely processing, professional conduct, and client satisfaction protocols.
- • Coach, mentor, and oversee a team of at least two associate-level teammates, fostering their professional development and performance.
- • Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and task management in handling complex surety requests and resolving client issues.
- • Participate in ongoing training and development activities to maintain current licensing and industry knowledge.
- • Collaborate effectively within a team environment while also operating independently with discretionary judgment on advanced tasks such as carrier negotiations and sophisticated client requests.
- • Utilize Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Word, and Excel to manage documentation, reporting, and communication tasks.
- • Leverage AMS360, Erlon, or ImageRight systems (or demonstrate ability to rapidly learn similar software) to manage account workflows and documentation.
- • Ensure all activities align with current surety best practices, legislation, rules, laws, and regulatory requirements.
- • Undertake additional assigned duties and special projects as needed to support team and organizational goals.
