Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the entire technical hiring lifecycle from requisition to signed offer for all engineering, data, AI, DevOps and product roles across BJAK’s China hub. You will be the single point of accountability for every open tech headcount, expected to turn urgent business needs into hired teammates in weeks, not months.
- • Proactively source, engage and convert passive talent on LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, WeChat tech groups, Zhihu, 51Job, Boss Zhipin, university alumni networks and every other channel you can imagine. You will build evergreen pipelines before roles are even approved and maintain warm relationships with high-value candidates for future opportunities.
- • Run a data-driven recruiting engine: track pipeline velocity, candidate aging, offer-accept rates, drop-off reasons and time-to-fill in real time. Surface bottlenecks daily, propose fixes immediately and execute them without waiting for permission. You will present concise, actionable dashboards to engineering leadership every Monday morning.
- • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering managers, staff engineers and the CTO to craft crystal-clear job descriptions, realistic scorecards and interview loops that test for real-world impact rather than trivia. You will train interviewers on structured, bias-free questioning and ensure every candidate leaves the process feeling respected.
- • Conduct rigorous technical phone screens that go beyond keyword matching. You will assess coding fundamentals, system-design thinking, product mindset and culture-add in 30-minute calls, then calibrate your findings with the hiring team to keep standards high and process lean.
- • Drive relentless follow-up: chase hiring managers for feedback within 24 hours, nudge candidates through every step, negotiate offers creatively and close hard-to-win talent. You will not allow any req to stall for more than 48 hours without an escalation plan.
- • Champion an exceptional candidate experience that is fast, transparent and human. From first email to final reference check, you will communicate proactively, schedule interviews at lightning speed and ensure every touchpoint reflects BJAK’s mission of making financial services accessible to millions.
- • Contribute to employer-brand initiatives: craft compelling WeChat posts, speak at meetups, host virtual coffee chats and design referral campaigns that position BJAK as the most exciting fintech scale-up in Southeast Asia. You will turn employees into brand ambassadors and candidates into fans.
- • Iterate on process improvements weekly: experiment with new sourcing hacks, interview formats and closing techniques; share wins and failures openly; and embed best practices into playbooks that the entire People team can reuse.
- • Thrive in a remote-first culture that values autonomy, speed and ownership. You will work from Beijing while collaborating seamlessly with teammates in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Taipei across time zones, using Slack, Notion, Zoom and Greenhouse to keep everyone aligned.
