- • The Technical Account Manager serves as a technical expert on Airwallex's payment processing products and services, acting as the primary post-launch contact for managed merchants to ensure seamless integration and ongoing technical success.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, installing and configuring test environments and payment APIs, conducting technical audits on merchant integrations, providing code samples and optimization recommendations, and advocating for new product adoption based on merchant needs.
- • The role involves close collaboration with developers, merchants, and internal teams to resolve post-integration issues, represent merchant feedback to product and engineering teams, and develop contingency plans for large enterprises.
- • The Technical Account Manager builds and documents knowledge of merchant technical setups, contributes to improving support tools and processes, and works with solution architects to implement and deliver Airwallex products at scale.
- • This role is critical to Airwallex’s mission of empowering global businesses through its unified payments and financial platform, offering the opportunity to work with high-profile clients like Brex, Rippling, Qantas, and SHEIN while driving technical excellence and customer success.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience or combination of education/experience.
- • 3-5+ years of prior experience in a technical, consulting, engineering, or sales role.
- • Proficiency in web/mobile technology standards including REST API, JSON, Web Service, HTML, and hands-on experience with a mainstream programming language (e.g., PHP, Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript).
- • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix commands, SQL, firewalls, proxies, TCP/IP, network, and information security.
- • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to learn quickly, execute under pressure, and manage multiple urgent issues.
- • Payment, e-commerce, or FinTech experience is a plus; fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
