Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the post-sale technical relationship for a portfolio of strategic game-studio, publisher, and platform partners across PlayStation’s global ecosystem. You will serve as the single point of accountability for solution architecture, integration health, and ongoing optimization of PlayStation Network (PSN), developer tools, and cloud services.
- • Translate complex product roadmaps into clear, prioritized technical action plans that accelerate partner time-to-market and revenue. You will run quarterly business reviews, present technical health dashboards, and negotiate scope changes that balance partner needs with Sony’s platform integrity.
- • Diagnose and resolve escalated production incidents 24/7, coordinating across Network Operations, Engineering, and third-party vendors to restore service within SLA. You will author post-mortems that pinpoint root causes and drive systemic fixes, reducing repeat incidents by at least 15 % year-over-year.
- • Design and deliver enablement workshops, code samples, and certification checklists that shorten partner onboarding from months to weeks. You will maintain a living knowledge base in Confluence and GitHub, ensuring every new integration follows security, performance, and compliance best practices.
- • Champion partner feedback into the product lifecycle. You will aggregate feature requests, file Jira epics, and present business cases to Product Management that influence the PS5, PS VR2, and cloud gaming roadmaps, directly impacting millions of end-users.
- • Monitor telemetry, cost, and usage analytics to identify upsell and optimization opportunities. You will craft data-driven recommendations that help partners reduce infrastructure spend by up to 20 % while improving player experience metrics such as latency and matchmaking wait times.
- • Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure every integration meets GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA standards. You will maintain an up-to-date risk register and lead remediation sprints ahead of major title launches or seasonal traffic spikes.
- • Mentor junior Technical Account Managers and Solutions Engineers through pair debugging, architecture reviews, and brown-bag sessions. You will codify tribal knowledge into runbooks that scale the team’s expertise globally across remote time zones.
- • Represent Sony Interactive Entertainment at industry conferences, beta councils, and closed-door developer summits. You will gather competitive intelligence and feed insights back into strategic planning, ensuring PlayStation remains the platform of choice for innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Technical Account Management, Solutions Engineering, or DevOps Consulting) supporting large-scale online services or gaming platforms.
- • Deep fluency in RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0, and cloud architectures on AWS, GCP, or Azure; hands-on proficiency with at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or TypeScript).
- • Proven track record of owning incident response end-to-end, including root-cause analysis, stakeholder communication, and long-term preventive measures.
- • Nice-to-have: Familiarity with PlayStation SDKs, game engines (Unreal, Unity), or backend services such as matchmaking, telemetry, and commerce micro-services.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote-first culture with flexible hours and a yearly stipend for home-office upgrades and high-speed internet.
- • Top-tier medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and eligible dependents, plus a 401(k) with generous company matching.
- • Annual wellness allowance, 20 days paid time off, 14 company holidays, and additional volunteer days to support causes you care about.
