- • As a Technical Account Manager for OpenShift at Red Hat, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to key enterprise customers, ensuring their Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environments run efficiently and align with business goals. This role is critical in building long-term customer loyalty by providing proactive, relationship-based support that goes beyond break-fix to include strategic guidance, incident management, and advocacy.
- • Day to day, you will develop deep relationships with customer stakeholders, conduct technical reviews to prevent issues, troubleshoot and escalate problems, deliver performance reviews, maintain detailed documentation, and act as the customer’s advocate within Red Hat. You will also collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to resolve complex issues, stay current on OpenShift and related technologies like Kubernetes and Ansible, and travel as needed to engage customers regionally.
- • You will join Red Hat’s Technical Services team, a global leader in enterprise open source solutions, known for its inclusive, innovation-driven culture. The team works closely with Engineering, R&D, Product Management, and Global Support to deliver premium support that enables customers to focus on growth while Red Hat ensures their technical environments are stable, secure, and optimized.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in enterprise cloud technologies, strengthen your consulting and communication skills, become a trusted advisor to strategic customers, and grow into a subject matter expert who mentors peers and influences internal initiatives. You’ll gain hands-on experience shaping customer success outcomes and contributing to product evolution through real-world feedback.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3 years of experience in support, development, engineering, quality assurance, or telecommunications
- • Expertise with enterprise cloud solutions including OpenShift, containers, Kubernetes, Red Hat CloudForms, and Ansible Automation Platform
- • Ability to manage and grow enterprise customer relationships through proactive, relationship-based support
- • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly
- • Competent comprehension of enterprise architecture and strategic business drivers
- • Experience managing multiple issues and projects with strong attention to detail
