- • As a Technical Engineering Advisor at Xometry Europe GmbH, you will serve as a critical link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturing and successfully launched into production. This role is vital to Xometry’s mission of connecting innovators with manufacturers, enabling efficient scaling of ideas into real-world products through its digital marketplace.
- • Day to day, you will perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis, analyze 2D drawings and 3D models for technical compliance, coordinate product development and production launch processes, act as a liaison between customers and supplier companies, implement engineering changes via change management, conduct production risk analyses with action plans, ensure timely completion of key production stages, and support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
- • You will join a dynamic, international team at Xometry Europe GmbH, a NASDAQ-listed company (XMTR) that powers modern manufacturing by linking innovators with global production capacity. The company serves Fortune 1000 buyers and supports manufacturers in growing their businesses through its digital platform, operating at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, and technology.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in DFM, GD&T, CAD systems, and manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and 3D printing. You will gain hands-on experience in cross-functional coordination, change management, and production risk mitigation, positioning you for advancement in manufacturing engineering, technical advisory, or production leadership roles within a fast-growing, innovative industrial tech environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong knowledge of GD&T and inspection/QA practices
- • Experience with 2D/3D CAD software
- • Ability to identify DFM issues from CAD models and technical drawings
- • Understanding of CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and/or 3D printing (preferred)
- • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field (preferred)
- • 2–4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal, 3D printing)
- • Strong attention to detail
- • Flexibility and adaptability
- • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- • Problem-solving mindset
- • English — fluent (spoken and written)
- • Russian is an advantage
