- • As a Technical Engineering Advisor at Xometry Europe GmbH, you will serve as a critical link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturing and successfully transition into production. This role is vital to Xometry’s mission of connecting innovators with manufacturing capabilities, directly impacting the efficiency and success of product launches across global supply chains.
- • Day to day, you will perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis, evaluate 2D drawings and 3D models for technical compliance, coordinate product development and production launch processes, act as a liaison between customers and supplier companies, implement engineering changes through change management, conduct production risk analyses with action plans, ensure timely completion of key production stages, and support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
- • You will join a dynamic, international team at Xometry, a NASDAQ-listed company (XMTR) that powers industries by connecting big ideas with manufacturers through its digital marketplace. The company enables Fortune 1000 buyers to access global manufacturing capacity while helping suppliers grow their businesses.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in DFM, GD&T, CAD tools, and manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and 3D printing. 🎯 Requirements
- • Strong knowledge of GD&T and inspection/QA practices
- • Experience with 2D/3D CAD software
- • Ability to identify DFM issues from CAD models and technical drawings
- • Understanding of CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and/or 3D printing (preferred)
- • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field (preferred)
- • 2–4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal, 3D printing)
- • Strong attention to detail
- • Flexibility and adaptability
- • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- • Problem-solving mindset
- • English — fluent (spoken and written)
- • Russian is an advantage
