- • As a Technical Engineering Advisor at Xometry Europe GmbH, you will serve as a critical link between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturing and successfully launched into production. This role is vital to Xometry’s mission of connecting innovators with global manufacturing capacity, enabling faster, more efficient product development across industries.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis, analyzing 2D drawings and 3D models for technical compliance, coordinating product development and production launch processes, acting as a liaison between customers and supplier companies, implementing engineering changes via change management, conducting production risk analyses with action plans, ensuring timely completion of key production stages, and supporting continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
- • You will join a dynamic, international team at Xometry, a NASDAQ-listed company (XMTR) that powers modern industry through its digital marketplace, connecting big ideas with manufacturers worldwide. The team values precision, collaboration, and innovation in delivering scalable manufacturing solutions to Fortune 1000 clients and beyond.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in DFM, GD&T, CAD tools, and manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal, 3D printing), gain hands-on experience in cross-functional engineering coordination, and develop strong change management and risk analysis skills—positioning you for growth into senior engineering or manufacturing leadership roles within a fast-growing global tech-driven manufacturing platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong knowledge of GD&T and inspection/QA practices
- • Experience with 2D/3D CAD software
- • Ability to identify DFM issues from CAD models and technical drawings
- • Understanding of CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and/or 3D printing (preferred)
- • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field (preferred)
- • 2–4 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with manufacturing processes (CNC, sheet metal, 3D printing)
- • Strong attention to detail
- • Flexibility and adaptability
- • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- • Problem-solving mindset
- • English — fluent (spoken and written)
- • Russian is an advantage
