- • The Technical Manager, Broadcast Solutions oversees technical systems and processes critical to product and service delivery, reporting directly to the Operations Director and playing a pivotal role in driving technical excellence and future advancements within the Broadcast Solutions department.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing technical processes, owning technical reporting and ticket resolution, collaborating with QC on software releases, developing technical standards and training, leading and mentoring the technical team, managing UK test rig setup and resource allocation, driving technology adoption with Product and Engineering teams, contributing to commercial processes through technical client support, facilitating knowledge sharing, managing RMA processes with suppliers, and ensuring adherence to technical standards and IT policies.
- • Hawkeye Innovations Limited is a technology-driven company specializing in broadcast solutions, leveraging innovations like Hawk-Eye’s Replay systems to enhance sports production and delivery, with a strong focus on technical precision, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in broadcast technologies such as SDI, ST 2110, and NMOS, strengthen leadership and stakeholder management capabilities, influence technical roadmap execution, and gain end-to-end ownership of service delivery processes—positioning them as a key technical leader within a growing, innovative organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Excellent depth of Replay technical knowledge and experience with Replay-based systems across the Hawk-Eye business
- • Proven success in taking ownership of service delivery, projects, and technical processes
- • Strong understanding of SDI, ST 2110 & NMOS standards as essential technical competencies
- • Experience working in broadcast environments with thorough understanding of broadcast/production workflows
- • Effective leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills with ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- • Excellent communication skills and proactive approach to problem solving, troubleshooting, and systems improvement
