- • The Technical Manager serves as the technical lead on large, complex deals, driving high-end services, enhancing industry reputation, and elevating consultant performance and deliverables. This role is critical in strengthening Optiv’s position as a trusted advisor in identity governance and administration (IGA) by providing advanced architecture, implementation, and operational support to clients and partners.
- • Day to day, the individual will support team growth, assist in developing IGA plans and roadmaps for clients, rationalize security solutions against business requirements and risk constraints, apply Enterprise Identity Management (EIM) methodologies, and contribute thought leadership through industry engagement, publications, and presentations. They will also monitor IAM industry trends, facilitate knowledge transfer, improve internal processes and tooling, and work across identity domains to expand cross-business offerings.
- • The role involves working closely with clients to articulate business requirements and translate them into technical features, providing oversight on 2–6 concurrent projects, leading other consultants in complex engagements, and facilitating workshops and assessments for large audiences based on deep technical expertise.
- • The Strategic Consulting team at Optiv focuses on delivering elite security consulting services, particularly in identity and access management. This role offers the opportunity to shape best practices, influence client security strategies, and grow as a technical leader in a high-impact, innovative environment focused on solving complex identity challenges.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying SailPoint and/or Saviynt
- • 10+ years of experience in consulting and Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- • Proven experience in pre-sales, post-sales, or non-sales technical roles within information security
- • Ability to clearly articulate the benefits of Optiv’s product and service portfolio to diverse stakeholders
- • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills
- • Experience providing programmatic-level guidance in IGA strategy
