- • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for Smile Digital Health’s FHIR-based data liberation platform, translating market needs and client feedback into technically sound product capabilities.
- • Drive internal technical product management by aligning product roadmap with engineering architecture, ensuring scalable, performant, and interoperable healthcare data solutions.
- • Coordinate cross-functionally between engineering, architecture, and design teams to oversee product design, development, and delivery from early-stage feasibility to launch.
- • Define and prioritize product features based on customer insights, competitive analysis, and regulatory requirements in healthcare data exchange.
- • Serve as the primary bridge between technical teams and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, health systems, and partner organizations.
- • Own the product vision and positioning for the platform, ensuring alignment with Smile’s mission of #BetterGlobalHealth and its use across 20+ countries.
- • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to understand real-world use cases and translate them into product enhancements that improve data collection and exchange.
- • Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to iterate on features, improve system interoperability, and enhance data liberation outcomes.
- • Work closely with engineering leads to define technical requirements, assess architectural trade-offs, and ensure compliance with healthcare data standards such as FHIR.
- • Participate in client demos, roadmap reviews, and industry events to represent the product and gather actionable insights from global healthcare stakeholders.
- • Maintain deep awareness of evolving healthcare data regulations and industry trends to inform product strategy and ensure compliance across international markets.
- • Champion user-centered design principles while balancing technical constraints, business goals, and the need for rapid iteration in a fast-growing health tech environment.
- • Document product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and alignment across engineering and product teams.
- • Support go-to-market activities by providing technical product messaging, training materials, and documentation for internal and external audiences.
- • Contribute to the company’s growth as a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 2024 winner by driving innovation in structured healthcare data management.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager in healthcare technology or health data platforms
- • Deep understanding of FHIR standards and healthcare data interoperability
- • Demonstrated ability to lead technical product development from concept to delivery in agile environments
- • Strong collaboration skills with engineering, architecture, and design teams
- • Experience translating customer feedback and market needs into technical product requirements
- • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in healthcare data (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
