- • As a Technical Project Manager at Agility IO, you will serve as the critical bridge between clients and the global development team, ensuring that complex software projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest technical quality—directly impacting the success of startups and enterprise clients across industries.
- • You will lead end-to-end software development projects from initiation to delivery, managing timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations while coordinating with distributed teams in Vietnam and Latin America across overlapping time zones to maintain momentum and alignment.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include translating client business and technical requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications, facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies, monitoring progress through key metrics, identifying and resolving blockers, and ensuring adherence to SDLC best practices in development, testing, and deployment.
- • You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, DevOps engineers, and QA specialists to define scope, prioritize backlogs, and foster a culture of transparency, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.
- • The role requires occasional hands-on involvement in technical architecture and coding—particularly during project kickoffs—to validate feasibility, guide early implementation, and build trust with engineering teams before scaling execution.
- • You will oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps, apply risk management strategies, and ensure CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment practices (AWS/Azure) are followed for reliable, scalable releases.
- • By mastering the full stack—from JavaScript/TypeScript and React/React Native to Node.js, Python/Django, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Docker, and cloud platforms—you will earn credibility as a technical leader who can speak fluently with both engineers and clients.
- • You will gain deep exposure to modern software engineering practices, including GraphQL, REST APIs, Auth0/OAuth, IaC, and secure third-party integrations (e.g., Plaid, Firebase), positioning you as a hybrid technical-business leader capable of driving innovation in fast-paced environments.
- • Working within Agility IO’s global team of 400+ engineers, designers, and PMs, you’ll contribute to cutting-edge projects for Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups, accelerating your career in technical leadership while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote LATAM-based role.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within a software development or technology environment
- • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Trello
- • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and stakeholder relationships
- • Ability to collaborate effectively in English with internal and external teams across time zones
- • Solid grasp of software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices and experience in client-facing, technical liaison roles
