• • As a Technical Project Manager for Sprout.ai in Japan, you will be instrumental in driving the successful implementation and adoption of our cutting-edge AI solutions within the Japanese insurance market. This pivotal role reports directly to the Japan Country Manager and is central to our strategic expansion in a region with a significant insurance market size of 45 trillion yen. You will be a foundational member of our growing Japanese team, with a unique opportunity to shape the future of Sprout.ai Japan and influence the transformation of the insurance industry through advanced AI.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the entire project lifecycle for Sprout.ai’s Japanese customers, from the initial Proof of Concept (PoC) stages through to full production deployments. This involves meticulously defining project scope, gaining stakeholder agreement on milestones, and developing and maintaining a robust, risk-aware delivery plan. You will ensure that projects remain on track, maintaining high standards of quality and pace throughout the day-to-day execution.
• • A key aspect of your role will be proactive progress tracking, identifying potential issues before they escalate, conducting structured root-cause analysis, and designing effective solutions. You will work closely with our clients to demonstrate the tangible value of Sprout.ai’s technology, supporting the success of PoCs and ensuring a smooth transition to production engagements. This requires a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into actionable project plans.
• • You will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining high levels of satisfaction across all levels of the customer organization, from C-level executives to the end-users who interact with the product daily. Building strong, trust-based relationships is paramount. Furthermore, you will act as a key point of escalation for ongoing service issues, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed promptly and effectively, thereby driving overall customer success.
• • This role demands a strong ability to bridge the communication gap between our customers' evolving needs and the technical constraints and priorities of our internal Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams. Your communication skills will be vital in ensuring alignment and fostering a collaborative environment that leads to successful outcomes.

• • By successfully managing complex software projects and fostering strong partnerships with engineering and data science teams, you will directly contribute to Sprout.ai’s mission of making insurance interactions accurate, fast, and fair. Your efforts will help insurers overcome legacy challenges, reduce costs, mitigate fraud risks, and meet stringent regulatory demands, ultimately transforming the insurance landscape in Japan.
