📋 Description

• As a Technical Recruiter at Canals, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in scaling the company’s engineering and product teams to support its mission of transforming the $10T industrial supply chain through AI-driven automation. Your work will directly impact the company’s ability to innovate and deliver reliable solutions that streamline global logistics for distributors and manufacturers.
• You will own full-cycle recruiting for technical and product roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer closure, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience that reflects Canals’ culture of transparency, excellence, and ownership.
• Day-to-day, you will build and maintain a robust talent pipeline through creative sourcing strategies, partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and calibrate on talent quality, use data to monitor pipeline health and hiring velocity, and represent Canals authentically in the market to attract top-tier technical talent.
• You will collaborate closely with an 80-person, profitable, remote-first team spanning North and South America, where engineering makes up ~50 of the team, and contribute to a culture that values process, collaboration, and continuous improvement in fast-paced, high-impact environments.
• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in technical recruiting across software engineering, ML/AI, DevOps, and product design, sharpen your data-driven recruitment analytics skills, and grow your ability to influence hiring strategy at a scaling startup with real-world impact on global supply chains.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, either in-house or at an agency, with a proven track record of successfully closing technical and product hires.
• Strong sourcing expertise, including the ability to craft effective Boolean searches, leverage multiple channels, and identify high-potential candidates efficiently.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting for technical roles such as software engineering, machine learning, DevOps, and product/design positions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, qualify, and close candidates in competitive markets.
• Comfort managing multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining consistent pipeline momentum in a fast-moving environment.
• Proactive, process-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to improving recruitment workflows and team outcomes.
