- • As a Technical Sales Representative for Azelis Group’s CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers) division, you will drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers across your assigned Florida-based territory. This role is critical to Azelis’ mission of delivering innovative, sustainable specialty chemical solutions, positioning you as a trusted technical advisor who helps customers solve formulation challenges and improve product performance.
- • You will manage your time strategically to ensure consistent, high-value engagement with top-tier accounts—conducting quarterly site visits with the top 25% of your customer base—while proactively disengaging from low-potential or misaligned opportunities to maximize sales efficiency and profitability. Your success will be measured by your ability to exceed sales targets through disciplined territory management, data-driven opportunity identification, and relentless follow-through on leads from internal sources, trade publications, and customer referrals.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining deep product expertise through supplier training, internal workshops, and joint travel with principals; preparing and submitting Supplier Highlight Reports after every sales call to document competitive intelligence, pricing shifts, usage trends, and lost/won business; collaborating with the Vice President of Sales to set and refine territory-specific goals and short-term targets; negotiating pricing adjustments and documenting price change impacts; and ensuring full compliance with administrative protocols including timely submission of mileage, expense, and variance reports.
- • You will act as a technical liaison between Azelis and its supplier partners, organizing and participating in joint sales calls to introduce new products, troubleshoot application issues, and co-develop solutions that increase customer loyalty and market share. Building cross-functional relationships with internal associates—including technical service, logistics, and marketing teams—is essential to delivering seamless customer experiences and supporting company-wide goals to improve satisfaction, reduce rework, and enhance profitability.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific field from an accredited four-year institution
- • Minimum of five years of proven field sales experience in specialty chemicals, coatings, adhesives, sealants, or elastomers industry
- • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a sales territory, prioritize high-value accounts, and consistently exceed sales quotas through proactive prospecting and customer retention strategies
