  • • Provide technical phone support for Hitachi Global Air Power (HGAP) C&I/Industrial Stationary products, answering questions about installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • • Work with various departments to address field concerns and drive issues to timely closure.
  • • Document service visits and generate reports with action items.
  • • Support the HGAP Training Department through content development and product updates for customers, distributors, and employees.
  • • Travel to field jobsites to troubleshoot and assist in repair of HGAP Industrial compressors, dryers, and related components.
  • • Follow standard work for pre and post service preparation, including submitting expense reports and developing service reports.
  • • Communicate distributor feedback to HGAP management as Voice of the Customer (VOC).
  • • Assist in writing technical service bulletins and support the service department goal of 95% service completion.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 1 to 10+ years of technical troubleshooting of electrical and/or mechanical systems.
  • • Exposure to industrial product manufacturing and processes.
  • • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • • Understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Office.
  • • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • • Ability to work independently or on a team.
