- • As a Technical Sourcer at SandboxAQ, you will be a strategic talent scout responsible for identifying and engaging top-tier passive talent in frontier technology fields such as AI, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and life sciences, directly supporting the company’s mission to solve global challenges through advanced AI solutions.
- • Day to day, you will architect and execute sophisticated sourcing strategies using advanced open-source intelligence, academic paper tracking, conference mapping, and alternative data platforms; partner with hiring managers and executives to understand high-impact talent needs; design and maintain a high-touch candidate experience; and act as a compelling storyteller to articulate SandboxAQ’s technical vision and culture to passive candidates.
- • You will join a small, high-impact Talent team of four recruiters and two sourcers within a fast-growing, mission-driven company that emerged from Alphabet Inc. in 2022, backed by leading investors and composed of experts across AI, physics, mathematics, engineering, medicine, and more.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in niche technical talent markets, master advanced sourcing methodologies beyond traditional platforms, and develop executive-level stakeholder management skills while contributing directly to SandboxAQ’s technological milestones through high-quality hires.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of progressive talent sourcing or full-cycle recruiting experience within fast-paced technology companies or specialized search firms
- • 4+ years of dedicated experience hunting for Frontier Technology profiles (e.g., AI/ML researchers, quantum scientists, advanced cryptography experts, or deep tech engineers)
- • Proven track record of '1:1' niche hiring: Experience finding the 'needle in a haystack' for bespoke, non-pipeline, and highly specialized positions
- • Advanced Sourcing & Market Intelligence: Exceptional ability to build comprehensive market maps, utilize Boolean logic, and leverage alternative sourcing channels
- • High-EQ Stakeholder Management: Experience partnering directly with technical executives, general managers and rigorous engineering leaders, demonstrating the knowledge and confidence to push back and guide talent strategy
