- • As a Technical Support Engineer at iHeartMedia, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of broadcast television systems for customers, directly supporting the company’s mission to deliver industry-leading audio and media technology solutions.
- • Day to day, you will install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems on-site and remotely, respond to customer support tickets via phone, email, chat, or video conferencing, travel as needed for on-site service, maintain detailed documentation of work performed, and continuously develop your technical expertise through training and self-directed learning.
- • You will join a team within iHeartMedia that supports Florical Systems’ broadcast technology products, working in a collaborative, innovative environment that values diversity, inclusion, and technical excellence while serving customers across the television broadcast industry.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in broadcast engineering, Windows administration, networking, scripting, and customer-facing technical problem solving, while building strong client relationships and gaining exposure to cutting-edge media technology systems used by major broadcasters nationwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, broadcasting, computer science, or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and training
- • Experience with customer issue tracking systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, Freshdesk, or TeamSupport
- • Proficiency in Windows Server administration, networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, IP addressing), and ability to install Windows 11/Server in physical or virtual environments
- • Skills in scripting (PowerShell, Python, batch files) and ability to read/edit JSON, XML, SQL, and other configuration/data formats
- • Working knowledge of SQL or MongoDB databases and ability to write basic SQL queries
- • Competency with Microsoft 365, including Teams, and familiarity with virtualization platforms
