- • As the first Technical Support Engineer on the ground in the US for Sona Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our growing base of frontline workforce management customers, directly impacting customer satisfaction and product adoption during a critical phase of regional expansion.
- • Day to day, you will own technical support via email and live chat, troubleshoot complex software issues, support customers through configuration, data uploads, and pre-launch UAT, act as a subject matter expert on Sona’s platform, maintain the knowledge base, and feed customer insights to the Product team to drive continuous improvement.
- • You will join a mission-driven company that has already impacted over 100k frontline workers globally, backed by $100M+ in funding from top-tier VCs including Felicis, Northzone, and Gradient Ventures (Google), and operates with a hybrid model in Austin, TX, blending startup agility with scalable structure and experienced leadership.
- • In this role, you will have the autonomy to shape and document how technical support functions in the US as we grow the team around you, gaining deep product expertise, cross-functional collaboration experience, and leadership opportunities in a high-impact, customer-centric environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3-5+ years in a technical customer-facing role such as Technical Support, Customer Support, Customer Enablement, or similar, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment
- • High AI proficiency with active use of AI tools in work and genuine curiosity about leveraging AI to improve operations and workflows
- • Strong communication skills to break down complex technical issues for non-technical audiences and collaborate effectively across internal teams
- • Experience working cross-functionally in customer, post-sales, or professional services settings
- • Based in Austin, TX with ability to travel to the Austin office a few days per week
- • Comfortable operating with autonomy in a rapidly evolving environment where you enjoy building processes from the ground up
