This position directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational uptime by diagnosing issues, coordinating resolutions, and ensuring timely communication across teams.
- • As a key member of Vultr’s support organization, you will help uphold the company’s reputation for high-performance cloud infrastructure by responding to platform alerts, troubleshooting technical issues, and facilitating collaboration between customers and internal engineering, network operations, and data center teams.
- • Day to day, you will respond to customer inquiries via ticketing systems and other support channels, addressing questions about Vultr’s Cloud Compute, Cloud GPU, Bare Metal, and Cloud Storage products and services.
- • You will act as a first responder to platform-level alerts, assessing their potential impact, initiating troubleshooting procedures, and determining whether issues stem from customer configuration, product behavior, or underlying infrastructure events.
- • Using established tools and documentation, you will review system logs, metrics, and platform behavior to diagnose technical problems and apply standard resolution workflows.
- • You will coordinate with system administrators, engineering teams, network operations, and remote data center staff to escalate and resolve complex incidents, ensuring clear handoffs and follow-through until closure.
- • Communication is central to the role: you will maintain professional, clear, and empathetic interactions with both customers and internal stakeholders, providing regular status updates and confirming resolution only after full validation.
