- • As a Technical Support Specialist for the Financials pillar at ServiceTitan, you will be the go-to expert helping small business owners in the trades manage their books, streamline accounting processes, and maximize profitability using ServiceTitan’s software, blending customer service passion with accounting knowledge to make a tangible impact.
- • Day to day, you will act as the first point of contact assisting customers via phone, chat, email, and screen-sharing; master financial modules including invoicing, accounts receivable, and job costing; troubleshoot accounting integrations with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and other platforms; guide customers on accounting best practices such as chart of accounts setup and month-end closing; and prevent escalations by de-escalating complex financial workflow cases using support tools and in-depth testing.
- • You will join a customer support team that accompanies customers every step of their journey, working hard and having fun while helping small business owners succeed; the team is known for having the highest rate of internal transfers across the organization, making this role a launchpad for career growth at ServiceTitan.
- • In this role, you can develop deep expertise in financial software and accounting principles, enhance your technical and customer service skills, gain experience with accounting integrations and financial reporting, and build a foundation for advancement into specialized or leadership roles within the company.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in technical support or an accounting-related role.
- • Solid understanding of core accounting principles (e.g., debits/credits, accrual vs. cash basis, general ledger, P&L, balance sheets).
- • Excellent people skills: empathetic, patient, and able to translate complex financial and technical concepts into simple terms.
- • Strong communicator in both written and verbal form.
- • Ability to thrive in a feedback-oriented culture and stay level-headed in a challenging, rapidly changing environment.
- • Proficiency in spreadsheet software (Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
