- • Technical Support Specialist I provides telephone, email, live chat, and social media support to GCU students regarding online classroom access issues, playing a vital role in ensuring seamless digital learning experiences.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include handling technical support requests, troubleshooting basic and advanced classroom technology issues, following through on problem resolution, documenting interactions, meeting first contact resolution metrics, working alternate shifts, and collaborating with team members and other departments to resolve student concerns.
- • The role operates within Grand Canyon Education’s Online Division, a rapidly growing educational service company that supports Grand Canyon University’s mission to serve students, families, and the inner-city community through innovation and people-first values.
- • In this role, you will develop strong technical troubleshooting skills, gain experience in high-volume customer support environments, improve communication and conflict resolution abilities, and build expertise in university e-learning systems while contributing to student success.

- • Must have a customer-focus, service orientation, and professional and courteous manner.
- • Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail.
- • Ability to function in a fast-paced call center environment.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to transmit information accurately and understandably.
- • Willingness and ability to work assigned shifts, which may include weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- • Previous experience with university e-learning environments and software preferred but not required.
