- • As a Technical Support Tech Lead at Smartsheet, you will serve as the subject matter expert for your Support pod, driving technical excellence and customer success while bridging Support, Product, and Engineering teams.
- • Day to day, you will lead technical escalations, mentor team members, manage case queues, contribute to knowledge base improvements, participate in release readiness, and provide on-call support during application incidents.
- • You will join a global, customer-focused Support organization at Smartsheet, a leader in work automation and collaboration tools, where teams are aligned by domain to deliver fast, effective resolutions and advocate for customer needs in product development.
- • In this role, you will deepen your technical expertise in the Smartsheet ecosystem, develop leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, influence product improvements through customer insights, and grow as a technical advisor and team enabler.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in a Technical Support setting, preferably in a high-volume technical SaaS environment
- • 3+ years of demonstrated leadership experience within a technical support or services organization
- • Bachelor’s degree preferred; CompSci, Engineering, or relevant certifications a plus
- • Proficiency in SQL queries and working knowledge of Smartsheet core, API, premium apps, integrations, and RESTful APIs
- • Strong technical troubleshooting skills, ability to scope and resolve complex issues, and explain concepts clearly
- • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with executive presence for briefing C-level stakeholders
- • Strong operational skills, ability to lead distributed teams, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
