  • • Ping Identity is seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to join our exceptional documentation team, contributing to the creation and maintenance of essential technical content within a cutting-edge Docs-as-Code environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our identity and access management (IAM) solutions are clearly and effectively communicated to administrators, enabling them to confidently configure, manage, and utilize our products. By translating complex technical concepts into accessible documentation, you will directly impact the user experience and success of our enterprise clients worldwide, reinforcing Ping Identity's commitment to seamless and secure digital experiences.
  • • As a Technical Writer at Ping Identity, your day-to-day responsibilities will be dynamic and collaborative. You will engage closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and product teams, both in-person and remotely, to meticulously define, design, create, and maintain the core administrator documentation. A significant aspect of your role will involve effective collaboration with a globally distributed team and various stakeholders, navigating different time zones to ensure cohesive and timely delivery of documentation. Your primary output will be clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation specifically tailored to the needs of IAM administrators. This requires a deep dive into Ping Identity's products, including understanding the underlying standards they rely upon, to guarantee the accuracy and comprehensiveness of all published content. You will be tasked with investigating, researching, and continuously learning about our evolving product suite. A key responsibility will be translating intricate technical concepts, particularly those related to authorization, into documentation that is easily understood by an administrator audience. You will work within a sophisticated Docs-as-Code authoring and publishing workflow, utilizing AsciiDoc for content creation, an IntelliJ IDE for development, and Git (specifically GitHub) for version control. Adhering closely to the software development lifecycle will be crucial, allowing you to proactively anticipate and ascertain documentation needs at every stage of product development.
  • • You will be an integral part of an extraordinary documentation team at Ping Identity, a company dedicated to making digital experiences secure and seamless. Our culture champions individuality and empowers employees to bring their authentic selves to work. We serve over half of the Fortune 100, providing an intelligent, cloud identity platform that enables secure and frictionless online interactions for businesses and users globally. You'll be working in a flexible, collaborative environment that retains the innovative, can-do spirit of a startup, while growing rapidly and serving demanding enterprises. Our commitment to protecting digital identities is mirrored by our dedication to protecting individual identities within our company, fostering an inclusive and diverse environment where everyone is respected and empowered.
  • • In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to deepen your expertise in the rapidly evolving field of identity and access management, a critical area of cybersecurity. You will gain hands-on experience with a Docs-as-Code workflow, mastering tools and methodologies that are becoming industry standards. By working closely with engineering and product teams, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of complex software architectures and security protocols. This position offers significant professional growth, allowing you to enhance your technical writing skills by documenting sophisticated enterprise-level software. You can achieve a high level of proficiency in translating complex technical information into clear, actionable content for a technical audience, thereby directly contributing to the success and adoption of Ping Identity's cutting-edge solutions. Furthermore, you will contribute to a product that is fundamentally changing how businesses and individuals approach cybersecurity and digital identity management.
  • • The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $72,000 annually, with the final compensation determined by factors such as knowledge, skills, and abilities. This range is provided in accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Ping Identity offers a competitive benefits package designed to support employee well-being and professional development. This includes generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and a comprehensive holiday schedule, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. We also provide parental leave to support new parents during this significant life event. Our healthcare options are progressive, offering robust coverage to meet diverse needs. For long-term financial security, we offer retirement programs. To support continuous learning and career advancement, opportunities for education reimbursement are available. Additionally, for specific locations, a commuter offset is provided to assist with transportation costs. These benefits, combined with a culture that empowers you to do your best work, regular team bonding events, and global community initiatives, create a supportive and engaging work environment.
