- • Maintain technical documentation including user guides, developer guides, API references, SDKs, and code samples for multiple Unity products and features.
- • Partner with product managers and engineers to understand the underlying technology, target audience, and documentation requirements for new and existing features.
- • Collaborate with other technical writers to ensure consistency, clarity, and cohesion in documentation across all Unity products.
- • Advocate for users during product development by providing feedback to improve workflows and enhance product usability.
- • Distill complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation that enables developers and creators to succeed.
- • Work within a globally distributed team, maintaining active communication with colleagues across multiple time zones.
- • Contribute to the development and enforcement of documentation standards for style, coverage, and quality across the organization.
- • Stay current with evolving Unity technologies and product updates to ensure documentation remains accurate and relevant.
- • Engage with engineering teams early in the development cycle to align documentation with feature releases and technical changes.
- • Use technical understanding of software development workflows to produce documentation that meets the needs of both novice and experienced developers.
