Telehealth Registered Nurse (Part-time)

📋 Description

• • Provide direct clinical support to patients undergoing medication abortion through telehealth platforms, responding to medical questions and concerns with timely triage and clinical assessment.
• • Deliver patient-specific nursing guidance that is culturally responsive, evidence-based, and trauma-informed, ensuring every patient feels heard, supported, and cared for during sensitive healthcare moments.
• • Conduct remote clinical evaluations to determine patient eligibility for medication abortion and other reproductive and sexual health services offered by Adyn, Inc.
• • Monitor patient progress post-medication administration and provide follow-up care instructions via secure messaging channels.
• • Collaborate with board-certified physicians and advanced practice clinicians to ensure continuity of care and adherence to clinical protocols.
• • Maintain accurate, compliant, and confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA and state-specific telehealth regulations.
• • Respond to urgent patient inquiries during scheduled shifts (12pm–10pm ET / 9am–7pm PT) on Fridays and Sundays, plus one additional on-call shift outside scheduled hours.
• • Educate patients on medication abortion side effects, warning signs, and when to seek emergency care, using clear, non-judgmental communication.
• • Uphold Adyn’s commitment to reproductive justice by advocating for equitable, discreet, and accessible reproductive healthcare services.
• • Adhere strictly to clinical guidelines and operational procedures established by Adyn’s in-house clinical care team to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• • Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives to maintain clinical competency in telehealth delivery and reproductive health best practices.
• • Ensure all patient interactions reflect Adyn’s core values of compassion, discretion, and judgment-free care.
• • Work exclusively within permitted states: CA, CO, HI, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NM, NY, OR, and WA, and maintain active, unrestricted RN licensure in one of these jurisdictions.
• • Coordinate with patient care advocates to support non-clinical aspects of patient experience, including scheduling, resource referrals, and emotional support.
• • Maintain professional boundaries and emotional resilience while delivering high-acuity care in a remote, text-based environment.
• • Contribute to a team culture centered on mutual respect, clinical excellence, and patient-centered innovation in reproductive healthcare.
