- • As a Territory Account Executive at Clipboard Health, you will serve as the primary market owner in your assigned territory, driving revenue growth by building and expanding relationships with healthcare facilities. This role is critical to Clipboard’s mission of lifting professionals up the socioeconomic ladder by connecting them with on-demand work opportunities through its app-based marketplace. You will be the face of the company in your region, directly impacting access to flexible work for thousands of professionals while helping partner facilities meet staffing needs.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include prospecting, pitching, and closing new healthcare facility partners through field sales and local business development; managing and growing relationships with existing customers to deepen engagement and increase platform utilization; conducting in-person meetings, product demos, and site visits across your territory to understand client needs and showcase value; developing a deep understanding of your local healthcare landscape, including competitor activity and market trends; partnering with internal teams such as Customer Success, Marketing, and Product to ensure a seamless customer experience from onboarding to ongoing support; maintaining accurate pipeline and activity tracking in CRM (Salesforce or similar) to forecast revenue and guide strategy; and spending approximately four days per week in the field meeting with Administrators, Staffing Coordinators, Regional Directors of Operations, and other decision-makers at long term care facilities and other healthcare settings.
- • Clipboard Health is a fast-growing, profitable Series C company backed by Y Combinator, operating a global remote team of over 1,000 employees while maintaining a strong field presence in key U.S. markets. The company has been profitable since 2022 and fills millions of shifts annually across partner workplaces, serving tens of thousands of healthcare professionals each year. With expansion into new verticals like Dental and Home Health, Clipboard is scaling its marketplace model and building localized sales teams to own market growth from the ground up.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced field sales expertise, including consultative selling, territory planning, and customer lifecycle management in a high-growth B2B marketplace environment. You will gain deep exposure to the healthcare staffing industry, learn to navigate complex organizational structures within long term care and adjacent facilities, and build a track record of revenue generation that can lead to leadership opportunities such as Territory Manager, Senior Account Executive, or Market Lead. Success in this role is measured by your ability to grow your territory’s revenue through new logo acquisition and account expansion, positioning you for accelerated career progression within Clipboard’s expanding sales organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 0–2 years of experience in sales, account management, customer-facing roles, or B2B field sales (for early career path) OR 3–5+ years as territory manager, outside sales rep, business development, or account manager (for experienced path)
- • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across clinical and business audiences, with ability to engage Administrators, Staffing Coordinators, and Regional Directors of Operations
- • A reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel locally 60–80% of the time for field-based customer meetings
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary + uncapped commission structure tied to performance
- • Comprehensive insurance benefits and 401(k) retirement plan options
- • Unlimited PTO and flexible holidays, plus mileage reimbursement or travel stipend for field work
