- • As a Territory Account Executive at Block, Inc. in Baltimore, you will serve as Square’s presence and competitive advantage in a high-opportunity market, driving economic empowerment by helping local businesses grow through Square’s integrated software and hardware ecosystem.
- • You will spend approximately 80% of your week in the field conducting 50–60 targeted business visits weekly, leading a full-cycle sales motion from lead generation to closing deals, building trust-based relationships, and establishing yourself as the go-to Square expert in your city through consistent, value-driven engagement.
- • You will join a high-performance field sales organization focused on disciplined execution, strategic partnership development, and building a repeatable pipeline through door-to-door outreach, community events, networking, and channel partner collaborations.
- • You will develop deep vertical expertise in restaurants, retail, and services to consultatively diagnose challenges and position the right Square solutions, while maintaining strong operational rigor in Salesforce, forecasting accurately, and consistently exceeding quota in a culture of high accountability and continuous improvement.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role with field sales experience
- • Experience exceeding sales targets, selling a diverse ecosystem of products, and closing complex deals
- • Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- • Business development experience (e.g., hunting and cold calling)
- • Reliable transportation and residency in the Baltimore market you are serving
- • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent
