- • As a Territory Account Manager for Illumina in Italy (Tuscany), you will drive the adoption of industry-leading genomics technologies across key clinical and research accounts, directly contributing to Illumina’s mission of expanding access to genomic technology for global health equity.
- • Day to day, you will develop and execute territory-specific sales plans, manage a healthy sales pipeline using CRM data, prospect and convert new leads, nurture existing accounts, and close multi-tiered sales cycles across capital equipment, consumables, and services while aligning Illumina’s capabilities with customer business objectives.
- • You will join a mission-driven, inclusive team at Illumina, a global leader in genomics committed to health equity, innovation, and employee belonging, where you’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners in sales, marketing, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that advance scientific discovery and healthcare outcomes.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in applied genetics and NGS technologies, refine consultative sales and negotiation skills, build long-term relationships with hospitals, universities, and research institutes, and grow your impact by enabling life-changing genomic discoveries that improve patient outcomes and advance scientific knowledge.
🎯 Requirements
- • Life Science degree (required); advanced degree preferred
- • Proven experience managing key clinical and research accounts in genomics or life sciences
- • Strong knowledge of applied genetics, genomics, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies
- • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical presentations and advise customers at various organizational levels
- • Experience prospecting, generating, and converting new customer leads in a complex sales environment
- • Proficiency in using CRM systems for forecasting, pipeline management, and business insights
