- • Serve as the primary representative of Dexcom’s continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) medical device portfolio to healthcare professionals across Japan, including endocrinologists, diabetes nurse educators, and key clinical advocates.
- • Drive product adoption and prescription behavior through direct, strategic field engagement in hospitals, clinics, and community healthcare settings.
- • Develop and execute nationwide and regional field event strategies in collaboration with marketing to increase brand visibility and clinical integration of Dexcom solutions.
- • Manage key accounts at every healthcare center within your assigned territory, setting and achieving quarterly sales touchpoint goals to ensure consistent patient growth and relationship development.
- • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers and other sales team members to align on territory growth objectives, messaging, and promotional activities.
- • Deliver compelling, evidence-based product education and training to healthcare professionals to ensure confident and effective use of Dexcom medical devices.
- • Represent Dexcom at diabetes-related conferences, trade shows, and professional forums to promote the company’s mission and expand market presence.
- • Serve as a key liaison between field operations and internal functions including legal, event management, and marketing to improve communication processes and compliance.
- • Analyze complex field data and situational factors to resolve challenges creatively while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- • Set personal objectives based on organizational goals and determine optimal resource allocation to meet sales targets and timelines.
- • Provide guidance to team members using established company policies and best practices in medical device promotion.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of Dexcom’s business objectives and apply this knowledge to inform daily decisions and long-term strategy.
- • Operate with high autonomy in a field-based role, making decisions that directly impact short-term organizational goals and customer trust.
- • Navigate diverse healthcare environments across Japan, adapting engagement strategies to regional needs and clinical workflows.
- • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards and company protocols in the Japanese healthcare system.
- • Travel extensively (50–70% of time) within your assigned territory to conduct in-person visits, attend events, and support clinical teams.
- • Maintain accurate records of field activities, customer interactions, and sales progress in alignment with company systems and reporting requirements.
- • Build and sustain long-term relationships with influential healthcare stakeholders to enhance brand loyalty and clinical adoption.
- • Proactively identify opportunities for expanding Dexcom’s footprint in diabetes care and contribute insights to broader market strategy.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining alignment with corporate objectives and cross-functional teams.
