- • Serve as a Territory Sales Representative for WEX’s Valero Fleet Card programs, focusing on acquiring new business opportunities within a multi-state territory centered on San Antonio and Austin, TX.
- • Act as a "Hunter" in sales, taking primary responsibility for identifying, prospecting, and closing new fleet accounts to drive growth in net cards, gallons, and revenue.
- • Consistently meet or exceed monthly KPIs related to net card acquisitions, fuel volume, and revenue targets.
- • Develop and execute a strategic territory expansion plan in collaboration with your sales manager to maximize market penetration.
- • Self-generate leads through proactive outreach and build a robust, sustainable pipeline of fleet management prospects.
- • Conduct discovery calls and presentations to articulate the value of WEX’s fleet payment solutions to decision-makers across commercial fleets.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect records in Salesforce, ensuring full visibility of pipeline activity and sales progress.
- • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to engage with clients at all levels, from fleet operators to C-level executives.
- • Manage a complex, multi-state sales territory requiring frequent travel between 50% and 75% of working time via vehicle or air.
- • Compete effectively against industry competitors by positioning WEX’s Valero Fleet Card as the superior payment solution for commercial fleets.
- • Forecast sales performance accurately and manage pipeline health using designated CRM tools, with prior Salesforce experience being advantageous.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity, discipline, and adherence to deadlines.
- • Collaborate with internal sales teams to align strategies and share best practices for territory success.
- • Adapt quickly to changing market conditions, client needs, and sales priorities while maintaining a goal-focused, results-driven mindset.
- • Apply strong time management and organizational skills to balance travel, client meetings, administrative tasks, and reporting requirements.
- • Leverage relationship management skills to nurture long-term client partnerships and drive repeat business and referrals.
- • Ensure full compliance with company policies, including successful completion of a background investigation prior to employment.
